Mirror, mirror on the wall - who’s the fairest SHOE of them all? You may have to do a double take of the booties in this picture. This is pure sculpture perfection by Brazilian footwear designer Andreia Chaves.

What happened this year?
Written by Eva Located in Fashion News

It’s defiantly been an interesting year in fashion. We’ve gone from following Michelle Obama’s every wardrobe move, MJ tribute costumes’ and finally getting rid of girls wearing tights as pants. But I have selected three of my favorite fashion moments of the past year. They are not in order or may not be important to you but it’s what made me happy so here it goes….
God Bless Diddo-I just want to run and give this girl a hug. Beth Diddo really doesn’t give a flying f. She posed completely nude on the cover of Love and hits the stage in nothing but her undies. She is a true role model and goes to show that being any size is sexy, as long as YOU believe it! Not to mention that her music is rocking and she’s a huge risk taker. Love this girl.
Models getting knocked up-Karolina Kurkoya, Jourdan Dunn, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima seem to be a little busy this year as they all gave birth to really cute babies. As if we didn’t hate these models enough, half of these girls hit the runways just after they popped. Of course, Klum always has to walk for Victoria Secret!
Blah Blah Gaga-I don’t even need to write anything about Gaga. I can just leave this part empty. We all know what she did to the entire fashion world this year. She ROCKED it!

A Taste of Versace..Pre-Fall 2010

Seems like Donatella Versace is keeping it together, as she showcased her Versace Pre-Fall 2010 Collection. She turned to the neon lights of Tokyo with electric blues and oranges. The collection also came with body conscious mini-dresses and tailored blazers. I’m liking it. And as always, this are just her pre-fall ideas so I bet the final Fall 2010 collection will be even better!

MEN: Give ‘em the Boot!
Written by Hope D. Located in In Right Now

It’s a well known fact that men don’t want to spend their entire life shopping for boots. So when they do, they want to purchase a versatile pair to wear with anything. PROBLEM: Some men tend to wear them with things they shouldn’t. I’ve selected a few pairs of my favorite men’s boots that can be worn for work and style.

L to R: Artful Dodger ($265), Cole Haan ($278), Chippewa ($159)
-Rock them with jeans and don’t be afraid to roll them up to show off your boot. I like the messy rugged look! Hold off on wearing your boots with dress pants or trousers. Jeans are usually the best bet!
-Don’t be afraid to dress your boots up. Throw on a cardigan or jacket but make sure the look is as rough as your boots!
-Get them dirty! A little bit of distress on your boots gives them an original look.

I always have the problem of arriving to a holiday party with super red cheeks due to the cold weather. I apply blush before I leave the house but by the time I arrive, I’m as red as Rudolf’s nose. (Sorry for the cheesy Holiday pun.)
NOT ANYMORE! I’m so excited about this product I just got. Rose De Rose is a sheer liquid blush by Terry and it’s amazing. The best part about this product is that it goes on light, subtle and feels weightless. Also, it gives me a finished look without looking like I’m wearing a lot of make up. Problem Solved!

Two Queens with One Royal Performance….
Written by Eva Located in Events

It was a royal meeting between The Queen of England and The Queen of the music industry. Last night, Lady Gaga attended and performed at the Royal Variety Show in Blackpool. If you didn’t already notice, Gaga came dressed as Elizabeth I in latex and the Queen didn’t seem to mind!
But what really blew me away was the massive Dali replica piano that was suspended 30 ft into the air. Seriously? That’s the dopest shit I’ve seen in a while. That piano was brilliant. I really never know what Gaga will do next and that’s what makes her so fascinating. People who just be themselves and not give two craps are my favourite people on earth!

Jason Wu seen above with Gossip Girls Leighton Meester.
There is no doubt that Jason Wu has taken over a big chunk of the fashion world. It was defiantly his year and he is showing no signs of slowing down. Wu has been designing for the past three years steady but it wasn’t until Michelle Obama wore his dress in January that made the world open their eyes to him.
Now, he has moved his work to a beautiful studio in the heart of the Garment District in New York. His team will show the press a sneak peek of his fall collection there tomorrow. I’m really happy to see a new designer move up in the fashion world because of his hard work and determination. No one handed him a career in fashion, he fought for that himself. It is a very admirable quality. Not to mention that his pieces are a gorgeous mix of classical design with modern combinations. My kinda stuff!

My Leg Therapy…

I might as well purchase shares in Christian Louboutin because I cannot get enough. These thigh highs are just unstoppable. They are not your conventional pair of shoes but do not think for one second that I won’t scoop these up. Santa if you’re reading this, you now know what I want for Christmas! That and peace on earth. Not to much to ask for, right?!
